Welcome to Riverview United Methodist Church and the African United Methodist Fellowship! We are one church with two congregations and several joint ministries. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ, and our mission field is Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, and its neighboring communities. The diversity of our community has led us into exploring new means of doing cross-cultural ministry. Check us out, see what we're up to, and see how God is calling our congregations to be in ministry to the world around us! |

Riverview United Methodist Church was founded in 1966 as a mission outpost north of Minneapolis in the transitional suburban/rural community of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Brooklyn Park has changed dramatically over the last four decades, and in place of the farmland that once dominated the landscape, there are housing developments that large numbers of immigrants from all over the world call home.
